I created this Haggadah — the text meant to guide Jews through the celebration of the Pesach (Passover) seder — both as a design exercise and to create an intentional bridge between many of the existing haggadot out there. Many haggadot are purely or primarily religious in nature, whereas secular texts often lack the warmth, tradition, and even spiritual mystery that can be found in religious versions. This Poet's Haggadah incorporates poetry from Jewish and non-Jewish poets on the themes of Pesach — liberty, remembrance, and spring — and aims to achieve a happy medium.
I wrote the text, designed the layout, and illustrated all of the icons.
